Good Times Bad Times

Endurance → Faithfulness
Context
I had various dreams in early October 2025, where a single lyric surfaced repeatedly and with unusual clarity. It did not arrive as background music or nostalgia, but as a focused fragment, highlighted during prayerful consideration of endurance and covenant faithfulness amid changing circumstances.
As with other lyric-based dream encounters, the Spirit emphasized one line only—a deliberate distinction meant to draw attention without importing the meaning of the entire song.
The Line
"I don't care what the people say, I'm going to love you each and every day."
— Thank You

The Message
When God speaks through a lyric, the lyric serves as a signpost, not a doctrine. In this encounter, the Spirit did not ask me to interpret the song, but to receive the message He was communicating through the fragment.
The line unfolded as a two-directional covenant statement. First, it revealed God's declaration of unwavering love—unchanged by public opinion, shifting seasons, or personal trial. Second, it gently examined my own posture of faithfulness: a call to love God with constancy rather than convenience.
The Spirit reframed holiness not as sinless performance, but as steadfast affection—a love that remains present, obedient, and surrendered through both "good times and bad." This was not emotional intensity, but mature devotion that endures without requiring affirmation.
Scripture Connection
"Love never fails… It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
— 1 Corinthians 13:7–8
Scripture clarified what the lyric pointed toward: covenant love defined by perseverance, not sentiment.
Application
Examine areas where love has cooled due to hardship, criticism, or delayed hope. Ask honestly:
Am I choosing to love God—and others—each and every day, even when it costs me approval, comfort, or ease?
Allow the Spirit to restore endurance where affection has quietly faded.
