A Collision Between Rock N Roll and Heaven

When God Proved He Knows Everything

Prophetic Boot Camp Initiation

The Significance

January 8, 2022 — the first month (January), the 8th day (new beginning) — marked a pivotal moment in my spiritual journey. This sequence of seven dreams opened my eyes to a profound truth: God exists outside of time and knows everything at every moment without limitation.

It was the first of many "series of dreams" designed to awaken me to deeper dimensions of God's character and design. It also marked the beginning of an intensive season of prophetic training, during which I received hundreds of dreams and night visions per month.

God's Language: Rock 'n' Roll as Revelation

God often uses rock 'n' roll lyrics as divine downloads to communicate with me. These moments are never random or nostalgic—they arrive suddenly, sometimes while waking, sometimes in prayer, and often in dreams, charged with spiritual significance. Lyrics or melodies will surface in my spirit like a broadcast from Heaven, carrying meaning far beyond their original context. Through these songs, God highlights phrases, emotions, or themes that echo His voice—sometimes as encouragement, sometimes as warning, and often as revelation.

Scripture shows that God has always spoken through the language and symbols of culture to reach His people. The Apostle Paul quoted Greek poets in Athens to reveal divine truth: "As some of your own poets have said, 'We are His offspring'" (Acts 17:28). Jesus used parables drawn from everyday life—farmers sowing seed, merchants seeking pearls, shepherds rescuing sheep—to convey eternal wisdom (Matthew 13:3–9; Luke 15:4–7). Even the prophets spoke through cultural imagery: potter's clay, plumb lines, almond branches—earthly metaphors carrying heavenly meaning (Jeremiah 18:1–6; Amos 7:7–8; Jeremiah 1:11–12).

In our own time, the Holy Spirit continues to speak through the language of cultural relevance—reminding us that truth is not confined to sacred spaces. Consider how God might use even the greatest symbols of modern music to echo His eternal message:

  • The Rolling Stones — widely regarded as the greatest rock band in history, their very name recalls the biblical image of the rolling stone that revealed resurrection power when the tomb was opened (Matthew 28:2; John 11:39–44).
  • "Like a Rolling Stone" — one of the most celebrated songs in music history, speaks symbolically to spiritual awakening, freedom, and transformation.
  • Rolling Stone magazine — the most circulated rock publication, named after the same prophetic image, perhaps unknowingly pointing toward the movement and power of resurrection truth across generations.
  • "Stairway to Heaven" — another of the world's most iconic songs, carries language that mirrors divine reality: there truly is a stairway—a portal, a ladder, a gateway—between Heaven and Earth (Genesis 28:12; John 1:51).

In these cultural echoes, God reminds us that His voice permeates everything—that the same Spirit who spoke through ancient prophets still speaks through the rhythms and symbols of our age. When the Holy Spirit quickens a line from a song, it isn't entertainment—it's communication. A melody becomes a message. A lyric becomes a living word.

Just as Paul used poetry and Jesus used parables, God still speaks today through the cultural language of our time, inviting us to hear His voice in places we might least expect—even through the gospel hidden in rock 'n' roll.

The Seven Dreams

All dreams displayed below are transcribed exactly as I recorded them—often in the middle of the night, immediately after awakening from the experience. In some entries, I may have used the word "thought" or similar phrasing, yet each account originated from a genuine revelatory encounter that occurred in a dream or in the liminal, semi-conscious moments between sleep and waking.

Dream 418: Sugar Ray at Mobius Event

January 8, 2022

I was at a formal dinner, that seemed to be an event associated with a company where I once worked, named Mobius.

I was the main person, all the focus was on me exclusively. I was prominent.

People were noticing some very particular things about me. I don't remember what it was, but I think it had to do with my physique. I was built. My physique really stood out.

And then there's some conversation about my brother, Karry.

And there's a band that was setting up and then a guy named Sugar Ray comes over to me while he's setting up.

He said, "Hey, I'm Sugar Ray." I replied something like, "Oh, awesome, man. Good to see you."

And then he said, "I just wanted to let you know that Karry is going to play."

This guy just comes over to me while I was in the restroom relieving myself. All right. I didn't get all of this dream initially.

Dream 419: The Full Recollection

I woke up with the dream heavy on my mind—vivid, fresh, and still pulsing with meaning. The full recollection came to me in an unexpected moment: while half-awake, making my way to the restroom in the middle of the night.

As I stood there, still caught between sleep and waking, the entire sequence of the dream returned in detail. In the dream, a man named Sugar Ray had spoken to me, saying,

"Karry is going to come and do a little ditty—just forty-five seconds—but he's going to do it."

I remember replying, "Oh, that's awesome."

The dream didn't have a clear ending; it simply faded as I awakened. But in that half-conscious state—eyes barely open, heart still tender from the dream's residue—I felt the Lord's nearness. I whispered, almost instinctively,

"Okay… yes, Lord. More. Keep coming."

It was one of those sacred in-between moments when heaven feels close, when the veil between the spiritual and the natural seems paper-thin, and recollection itself feels like revelation.

Note: Strategic Symbols (Reflecting Back)

This was early in my dream documentation journey—specifically dream 418. Years later, with the benefit of hindsight and deeper understanding, I now recognize the strategic symbols God embedded in this encounter:

  • Formal Dinner — God was formally introducing me to new revelations about how He operates and how His Kingdom functions. This wasn't casual instruction; it was an official initiation into deeper mysteries.
  • Focus on Me Exclusively — A clear signal that I had entered an intensive learning and training phase. God was saying, "Pay attention. This is for you. I'm teaching you something specific."
  • Mobius — At the time, I interpreted this literally as a reference to a company I once consulted for. Only years later, after reviewing this dream alongside its companion dreams, did I understand: Mobius is the symbol of infinity. God was revealing that He is truly infinite—possessing all knowledge, existing outside of time, far beyond my abstract theological understanding of "omniscience." He doesn't just know everything; He knows everything at every moment, past, present, and future, simultaneously.
  • My Brother Karry — In my dreams, Karry often symbolizes Jesus as my closest friend—intimate, relational, and present in the ordinary rhythms of life. Looking back, the moment when Karry (Jesus) was about to do "a little ditty" feels profoundly significant. It signified Jesus Himself initiating a prophetic expression—activating rock music lyrics as living downloads of revelation, woven into the fabric of my daily walk. Though I cannot confirm, the dream may have lasted exactly forty-five seconds, knowing God's precision - another mark of His perfect timing and design.

Dream 420: Landing Pages

January 8, 2022

This is only a few short minutes after my most prior dream, which was sugar Ray dream, I think. I realize that when I'm in this spirit like this, when my mind wanders, it's a God thing. It's not just me. It's not just my client, actually, it's Saturday morning now, but through like Friday, about getting some new landing pages for my client.

And I had a thought that I'm a landing place. I'm a landing place for people. People land on me and then they get equipped and they get launched. And I'm a landing place. That's what I am. I'm a landing place.

Dream 421: Google Sugar Ray

January 8, 2022 — THE REVELATION

Okay. So I had a thought to Google Sugar Ray. And I did. And I discovered that Sugar Ray's number one hit song is called "Every Morning."

The Divine Connection

Sugar Ray's #1 Hit Song: "Every Morning"

This was God's humorous and profound answer to my question about sleeping in. The visitations would come "every morning" — a lifestyle of constant revelation and divine friendship.

4

Dream 422: Sugar Ray's Current Appearance

January 8, 2022

I had a thought that the Sugar Ray I saw in my dream is exactly what Sugar Ray looks like today — not in his heyday in the 80s or 90s, but what he looks like right now in 2022. God prompted me to verify this.

5

Dream 423: Confirmation

January 8, 2022 — PROOF OF OMNISCIENCE

I Googled current photos of Sugar Ray (Mark McGrath) and confirmed: the person in my dream is EXACTLY what Sugar Ray looks like today — someone I had never seen before. This was undeniable proof that God knows everything, even obscure details about a musician's current appearance.

I also discovered Sugar Ray's song "Flyaway" with lyrics about God putting His arm around him. This became a profound revelation of God's omniscience and intimate friendship.

The Theological Implication

God was demonstrating to me that He exists outside of time—fully aware of every moment past, present, and future. In this experience, He showed me a person I had never seen before (Sugar Ray's 2022 appearance) in a dream, then led me to verify it afterward. The realization was profound: God was training me to trust His voice and to recognize that when He reveals something, I can have complete confidence it is true and from Him.

This moment marked the beginning of a journey in which God began to build my faith, showing me that His revelations are not abstract impressions but precise communications—delivered with intention, accuracy, and even divine humor. Through such encounters, He was teaching me that His knowledge transcends time, His timing is perfect, and His ways of confirming truth are deeply personal.

6

Dream 424: Spotify Playlist

January 8, 2022

I felt prompted to add Sugar Ray to my music playlists. This was a beautiful reminder that God cares about even the smallest details of my life — even what's on my Spotify playlist. He's not just Lord, but a friend who puts His arm around me.

7

Dream 425: Unexpected Encounter

January 8, 2022

In this dream, I unexpectedly encountered Sugar Ray again in a place I didn't expect him to be. He was there to remind me of the significance of the previous dreams and the importance of staying open to God's revelations.

This dream reinforced my understanding that God's presence is everywhere and that He wants to communicate with me in unexpected ways. It was a reminder to trust in God's timing and to be receptive to His messages.

Key Takeaways

God's Omniscience

God knew exactly what Sugar Ray looked like in 2022 and showed me this person in a dream before I'd ever seen him. This demonstrates God exists outside of time and knows everything.

God's Sense of Humor

The entire sequence is playful and humorous, demonstrating God as a friend who jokes and surprises His children in delightful ways.

Divine Friendship

God is not just Lord but a trusted friend, a "bro," who puts His arm around me and cares about even my Spotify playlist.

"Every Morning" Theme

The revelation that visitations would come "every morning" — a lifestyle of constant revelation and divine communion.

Landing Place Ministry

My calling to be a "landing place" where others can land spiritually, be refreshed, equipped, and launched into their divine assignments.

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

— Matthew 11:28

This revelation came during the same sequence of dreams, showing that God was not only training me personally but commissioning me to create space for others to encounter Him, receive clarity, and be sent forth with purpose.

Prophetic Boot Camp

This marked the beginning of an intensive season of 300+ visions per month, rapid spiritual formation, and learning to interpret dreams.

"O Lord, You have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You discern my thoughts from afar."

— Psalm 139:1-2

This encounter proved that God is omniscient, hilarious, and deeply personal. It marked a defining moment of divine calling and launched me into a season of unprecedented revelation and intimacy with Christ.

"O Lord, You have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You discern my thoughts from afar."

— Psalm 139:1-2

"A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."

— Proverbs 17:22
