When Divination Is Not Divination — The Counterfeit Born from Neglect
A prophetic call to the Church to reclaim the spiritually sensitive who were orphaned by religion but chosen by destiny
A Prophetic Encounter Underscored by Heaven
God spoke this message to me not once, but three times—in a series of continuation dreams that formed a single encounter.
Encounters of this nature usually mean that Heaven is seriously underscoring a truth the Spirit wants proclaimed.
In the third dream, I was handed an essay about witches and demonic people.
The revelation came not as condemnation but as compassion: most of these individuals were not malicious—they were confused, spiritually sensitive souls whose gifts were never discipled.
As I received the revelation, a familiar lyric from The Who echoed through the encounter:
"Can you see the real me?"
It was as though Heaven was asking the Church that very question—can you see the real person behind the confusion, the wounded prophet behind the psychic façade?
The lyric was not random; it was God's sign that He was underscoring this truth.
The Church That Funded the Darkness It Feared
Then I heard the phrase repeated twice with holy weight:
"We are the ones who have funded them."
"We are the ones who have funded them."
The conviction struck deeply.
The Lord revealed that the Church's fear, neglect, and rejection have unintentionally financed the very darkness we condemn.
Every abandoned seer became a recruit for the wrong kingdom.
Every silenced visionary became a voice in the wilderness that no shepherd pursued.
The Church's avoidance of the supernatural has not protected her—it has impoverished her and empowered the counterfeit.
Heaven is now calling for repentance—not only for what we opposed, but for what we ignored.
When the Gift Went Untrained
Many who now practice "divination" began as spiritually perceptive souls—children who saw, sensed, or dreamed beyond the natural.
Because their experiences frightened leaders or violated rigid doctrine, they were cast out rather than discipled.
The Church's fear birthed the enemy's counterfeit.
The rejected prophetic found mentors among mediums; the unpastored seer found community in the occult.
Where the Church withheld guidance, the enemy offered belonging.
And so the Father grieves: "My people cast out those I intended to train."
The Nature of True Divination vs. Heavenly Revelation
True divination is not curiosity—it is corruption.
It seeks knowledge without intimacy, power without purity.
But many labeled as "diviners" are actually wounded seekers—individuals once stirred by divine sensitivity, now misdirected.
Satan cannot create gifts; he can only distort them.
What begins as prophetic sensitivity becomes psychic imitation when separated from the Spirit of Truth.
Key Distinctions:
- • Where the Holy Spirit reveals through communion, divination reveals through compulsion
- • Where Heaven imparts peace, the counterfeit breeds unrest
- • The distinction is not always what is seen, but who governs the seeing
"We Are the Ones Who Have Funded Them"
The phrase thundered like judgment, yet burned with mercy.
To "fund" means to empower, legitimize, or sustain—and that is precisely what the Church has done through:
1. Silence — refusing to teach on the gifts of the Spirit, leaving seekers defenseless
2. Fear — branding supernatural sensitivity as demonic, driving the gifted into exile
3. Pride — trusting structure over Spirit, choosing control over communion
4. Neglect — ignoring the spiritually curious rather than pastoring them in truth
Every time we reject or ridicule a seeker, the enemy adopts them.
When the Church stops raising prophets, the world raises psychics.
When believers mock dreams, false interpreters take the stage.
We have funded darkness through the currency of fear and indifference.
Heaven's Heart for the Misguided Prophetic
Yet God's heart is not wrath—it is redemption.
He sees the wounded prophet behind the "witch," the misdirected seer behind the psychic.
To each one He whispers, "Can you see the real Me?"—echoing the same lyric that marked the dream encounter.
He is calling His Church to mirror His compassion: to mentor rather than mock, to reclaim rather than condemn.
The Father's heart is breaking for those who were orphaned by religion but chosen by destiny.
Heaven's invitation is clear: "Stop cursing the lost seers. Start mentoring the misled."
The Reformation of Discernment
The Spirit of God is birthing a reformation of discernment.
What's Coming:
- • Leaders will learn to discern spiritual sensitivity with maturity instead of fear
- • Training centers will emerge where prophetic gifting is taught biblically and guarded by holiness
- • Pastors will shepherd prophets instead of silencing them
- • The counterfeit will crumble once the authentic is restored
From repentance will come authority; from humility will come power.
Heaven is not merely exposing a problem—it is announcing a prophetic reform.
Conclusion — The Redemption of the Rejected Prophets
This revelation came through an encounter underscored by Heaven: three continuation dreams and a rock lyric that carried divine weight.
When God repeats Himself, He is making sure His people do not miss the point.
The message is unmistakable: When divination is not divination—when what looks dark is merely misdirected light—the Church must stop funding the counterfeit by neglect and start reclaiming the wounded for the Kingdom.
We must repent for calling cursed what God intended to consecrate.
Now is the time to fund Heaven's agenda—to invest intercession where we once invested indifference.
For God is not done with the spiritually sensitive; He is reforming them for His glory.
The counterfeit will cease when the authentic Church arises.
Let our confession become our commissioning:
"We are no longer the ones who fund them—
we are the ones who redeem them."
A Prayer for the Rejected Prophets
Father, forgive us for casting out those You intended to train. Forgive us for funding darkness through fear, neglect, and indifference. Forgive us for calling cursed what You intended to consecrate.
Open our eyes to see the real person behind the confusion—the wounded prophet behind the psychic façade, the misdirected seer behind the diviner's mask. Give us Your heart of compassion for those who were orphaned by religion but chosen by destiny.
Raise up training centers where prophetic gifting is taught biblically and guarded by holiness. Equip pastors to shepherd prophets instead of silencing them. Birth a reformation of discernment that distinguishes between spiritual sensitivity and demonic deception.
May we become the ones who redeem the rejected, mentor the misled, and reclaim the wounded for Your Kingdom. May the counterfeit crumble as the authentic Church arises in power, purity, and prophetic authority.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
